There is no “You must be this tall to ride this ride” requirement for Responsibility.
No apprenticeship. No “dues.”
10,000 hours not mandatory.
You’ve already had many moments in your life where you’ve operated from the mental position of Responsibility.
You may not have called it by that name. You faced a problem, you looked and found clarity about what you really wanted, and you trusted that you could and would create, choose, or attract that outcome.
Don’t Talk Yourself Out Before You Begin
Why talk about “being this tall?”
Because it’s easy to decide not to try something when you believe it requires deep mastery.
If you think you had to start when you were little, will you start when you’re an adult?
When you feel like time is already tight, you can tell yourself “There’s no way I can find hours to get good at something new.”
Here’s a different thought –
Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly to start with.
Don’t talk yourself out before you begin. Especially when it’s something you already do.
Learn to do it more often, more actively, and to greater effect.
Have more choice, more freedom, and more power with your life.
That’s what building your practice of Responsibility will do for you.
You can do this. I can help.
