Intention and Attention

To who and what did you show Intention and attention last week?

Think about your last week and what you spent your time on.

For the causes, purposes, initiatives. projects – were any of them yours, or did they start with and belong to someone or something else?

Pursuing a shared vision can be powerful. Do you feel connected to the outcome, or is it simply a task?

Are you acting on an Intention to “not get fired” or to “collect a check”?

Those are not “wrong” or “bad” Intentions. They’re serving you and meeting a want that you hold.

Can you meet that want in a fashion that does more for you?

Going into your next week, will you identify your Intention in acting and engaging with work?

Outcomes hold more power when you own at least part of it for yourself.

Me Time

Did you show Intention and attention only to others, and none for yourself?

What is it that you believe that keeps you from investing Intention and attention in yourself?

You matter. You deserve and are worth your conscious Intention, attention, and love.

Identify at least one thing you want for yourself. Pay attention to that Intention, and act on it.

You will have more of what you want, and want more of what you have. Even if it’s only that one thing.

Stop giving control of your Intention and attention away to your job and to others in your life. Take back that active element of choice, and make sure you’re taking care of yourself.

You can do this. I can help.
