“As you start to walk on the way, the way appears.”
—Rumi
You’ve been taught that you have to have a plan. A big shining goal, an answer for “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
For a few, that first answer they have is their answer for good. They pursue that want and it brings them what they seek.
Most people don’t live that experience. Then struggle with feelings of lack and worry, asking themselves “Why don’t I know what I want?”
To soothe the upset and anxiety, you latch on to things that seem “okay” or “right enough.” Plans and paths that don’t truly inspire you, they make the anxious feelings go away for a little while.
Let that go.
Everything you’ve lived up to now is done. It has brought you to here and now.
The way forward appears to you now. Trust that you are the right person to walk it, and that you have the power and ability to walk it.
Ask yourself what you truly wish that path to be. Turn off the “shoulds”, the “oughts”, the inner critic. Tune in to the quiet voice of your heart, and walk upon the way it desires.
You can do this. I can help.
