What did you scold yourself for today?

Stop and think about it – what did you scold yourself for today?

When did you tell yourself you were “wrong” or did that “badly”?

“I’m such an idiot.”

Why?

What’s the payoff?

It’s a coping strategy, it makes accepting the problem easier because you can tell yourself you’ll “do better next time.” Or perhaps that you deserved to fail because you’re just not good enough to succeed.

Let that shit go.

Replace your self-scolding with acceptance and grace.

Your world didn’t end, the sun will come up tomorrow.

“I didn’t get the result I wanted. Maybe even because I made mistakes. I have the ability to accept this outcome and make choices about what I’m going to do now that this has happened.”

Every single “mistake” or “wrong” thing you’ve done, you’ve survived. This time is no different.

You are powerful beyond your self-limiting beliefs. Trust yourself, don’t scold yourself.

You can do this.
