Who I Am
I’m Craig Dial, the coach behind Stop Coping. I’ve spent decades being moderately successful while coping with my limiting beliefs, stresses, and problems. I built a toolkit over years of leadership that unlocks the ability to face reality and challenge all the “shouldn’ts” and “other people make those decisions” and self-sabotaging stories we tell ourselves.
I also have worked with dozens of agile leaders, executives, retail managers, and front-line team members to learn that it’s possible to have more of what you want, and to find your voice in a way that is powerful and actionable.
Where I’ve Been
I have spent significant chunks of my life with different organizations.
- 8 years in the hospitality industry with Bennigan’s®
- 10 years in technology retail with Apple®
- Over 10 years in software development and Agile with cPanel®
One of the biggest takeaways from this is that every industry thinks it’s unique, and most of the day-to-day challenges and problems come from the same root causes – coping in the face of anxiety. Being steamrolled by an anxious executive/district manager/GM/board of directors isn’t much different if you’re selling burgers, iPhones, or a software platform.
Why I’m Here
This is how I make a difference in the world. It’s not my calling to bring about nuclear disarmament, or cure cancer, or end poverty and hunger. I am privileged to get a chance to work with people who feel stuck, who feel overlooked and overwhelmed, and who want more peace and more power in their life but haven’t quite figured out how to have both. People who may not realize how much they’re coping, but who realize they’re not growing. People whose hearts and brains get shredded by the perpetual anxiety machine that is modern business management.
You can do it. I can help.
